Founded in 1984, C&H Technologies, Inc. started as a design service company and gradually migrated to the ATE service business picking up a license in 1987 to support a Texas Instruments product line. In 1999 the company moved into its new custom designed 15,000 sq. ft. facility in Round Rock, TX.
The company has invested heavily in a growing line of test and measurement instruments to support its customer base.
- In early 2003 the company started shipping its first Power PC based products.
- At present C&H has nearly 100 products in VXI, PXI, IP, M Module, Ethernet and LXI.
- Emphasis has been on sources and carriers so as to allow the company to provide platform independent instruments.
- Custom Designs are facilitated by using intelligent carriers and M Modules.

M Modules are ANSI/VITA 12-1996 standard mezzanine cards which afford the user significant benefits and flexibility when configuring a test, data acquisition or control system. Among these benefits are:
- Standard is controlled by an industry organization and not a single vendor
- Over 100 M Modules are currently available from a number of vendors (Product Directory)
- Once an instrument or function is selected it may be ported to a variety of backplanes or busses gaining the user platform independence.
- The simple interface bus makes for easy development of custom functions without the cost of developing VXI, PXI, LXI modules. Just buy the appropriate carrier.
- Instrument vendor development costs are reduced ( 1 Pulse Gen works in VXI, LXI, PXI), thereby offering the potential for reducing customer's life cycle costs.
- Provides for multiple functions in a single VXI, PXI, VME slot.
- Can provide for hardware traceability between larger VXI factory test sets and smaller PXI or LXI field test sets.
