ANSI Mezzanine Modules Provide Instrument Design/Replacement Flexibility

This document examines the growing trend towards more modular forms of instrumentation and how they may be used across multiple instrument platforms. The multi- vendor support for this trend is shown as is its application to reconfigurable and legacy applications. Ongoing activity and future directions are briefly enumerated.
